If an alien lands on Earth how would you show him around

If an alien lands on Earth How would you show and explain things to him. For me first of all; if he didn't speak our language I'd tell him to go away! If he I'd then I'd probably tell him/ her (or neither him OR her!) about history and religion. Then I'd demonstrate. That is how I would go about showing him things, telling Him (it's a him for now!) then showing them. I'd show him the internet, and modern science. Try google-ing 'how to show an alien around'; you are bound to come up with something! Anyway comment on what you would show him first, how would you go about it and anything else you would want to comment on. Rate!

What if they got attacked by an asteroid. OR my idea is that a intelligent race abducted them, then dumped them here! I suppose you are right but what if they came from Mars and weren't than far away because humans can almost get to Mars.

To be able to master space travel and get to Earth from another solar system means they'd have to have better technology, even though our planet is old we can't even explore the galaxy yet!

Why would they be more advanced than us? This Planet is VERY old and human technology is getting better extremely quickly and an aliens planet might only be 1 million years old or something.

If aliens found their way to Earth then they'd definitely have much better technology than us and probably already know quite a bit about human life!
I'd probably let them experience Earth culture first-hand e.g. trying different foods, visiting famous landmarks, seeing all our animals etc.
